1. French with a Twist
The plain old french manicure can be given with a twist by playing with shapes or creating a graphic effect. Paint your nails with clear base coat, put a white color at the tip of the nails and layer it with a nude stripe below. You can also create an ombre effect just below the white french tip to make it look cool.
2. Metallic
Using shiny nail polish is not that bad as long as you know what color to choose. You can play with different designs and techniques. Use it as a french tip to a clear base coat or just add metallic stripes in a very bold color. Silver metallic designs with mirror effect that you can wear for evening dates or parties are cool too.
3. Pretty Pastels
If you are not so into super bright colors but don’t want nude polish in your nails, then pastel colors are perfect. Your hands will look fresh and bright without making it too teen or too loud. A simple coat to your fingernails with pastel colors can make your hands look young and soft.
4. Glitters on Cuticles
Glitters around your cuticles can be a simple and clean design. Adding shine to your clear base coat will give a clean and soft effect on your nails but not too flashy. This can be a good nail design for teens and for those who prefer their nails to be short.
