The Most Unhealthy Foods To Avoid

Eating is one of the biggest pleasures there is, but sometimes we are too busy or just plain lazy to make a healthy home cooked meal and this is when we are tempted by those more unhealthy options.

Nowadays junk food can be extremely bad for are bodies so we have to choose what we eat wisely (otherwise it will probably kill us!).

You will not believe the amount of fat and calories contained in some popular foods and hopefully the following pages will reveal just how bad they are, or on the flip-side they might make you jump in the car and drive to the closest fast food joint.

1.  Wendy’s Triple Baconator Combo Meal

Can you believe that? Check out the amount of calories and fat in this burger meal, it seems so unhealthy that I would be afraid of having a heart attack while I’m eating it! When I first looked at Wendy’s menu it seemed decent, but then I saw this atrocity. So, shame on you Wendy’s! Since this is a big fast food chain, it should be aware that three slices of cheese, three hamburger patties and three strips of bacon, does a huge amount of damage to our bodies and you don’t have to be a doctor or a nutritionist to know that.

2. Quiznos Tuna Melt Sandwich (large) with Cheetos

As it’s a sandwich, you may be fooled into thinking that it’s healthy, but this is one of the worst lunch options out there! I thought tuna was supposed to be healthy right? Yes it is, but not with that amount of mayonnaise and processed cheese. So, if you are a fan of this sandwich, stop eating it! Don’t think it about it twice, the answer is “No, do not order it”.

3. Domino’s Chicken Carbonara Bread Bowl Pasta

Any Domino’s Bread Bowl Pasta has a huge amount of calories, fat and sodium, but the Chicken Carbonara Bread Bowl is the winner. It’s shocking to see how many calories are entering your body. You would have to run at a moderate pace for 4-5 hours to burn off this bad boy. Even though, I have to confess the first time I saw a Domino’s TV ad it did get my mouth watering, but this meal looses it’s charming when you see the Nutrition Facts. The first time I noticed how much fat it had, I thought “Domino’s, are you trying to kill me?!”

4.  McDonald’s Triple Thick Chocolate Shake

If you are going to write about an unhealthy food list, it’s no surprise to see an entry for McDonald’s. Truth is, this is only one example of many unhealthy foods that McDonald’s has on offer. I’m a chocolate lover, I have a lot of chocolate cravings so looking at this one was very painful for me, but worst of all it’s very popular amongst children. Many parents don’t know how much harm they are causing to their kids by just giving them this shake, and generally when it’s ordered with a hamburger and fries, it gets even worse.

5. Carl’s Jr. Loaded Breakfast Burrito

This is the worst choice for breakfast at Carl’s Jr. I don’t know what is worst, eating that or not eating at all? But seriously, someone should create another documentary like Super Size Me to make the public more aware of the damage these foods do to our health, no wonder Western society currently is undergoing an obesity epidemic.

The burger consists of 4 beef patties, each weighing 1/2 pound, 4 slices of cheese, a whopping 20 slices of bacon, some special sauce and a few slices of tomatoes and red onions to make up the ‘healthy’ portion of your meal 🙂
